STACLU blocked by filtering company

A reader writes:
"Within the past month, my employer has subscribed to SonicWALL, and as you can see from the screenshot below, Stop the ACLU is blocked because it is “Adult/Mature Content.” Offhand, I checked the ACLU’s website which we are allowed to access. I just wanted to bring this to your attention.

See the screenshot here

Strange but not unexpected. The SonicWall homepage is here. They have a "Contact us" facility.

Just FYI, my company uses WebSense to filter the content employees are allowed to access from company computers, and STALCU is **not** blocked at this time.

Stop the ACLU is blocked because it is “Adult/Mature Content.” as opposed to the ACLU website which is not blocked because it only contains Juvenile/Immature content.

I wonder whether WebSense, SonicWall et al are shipped with a pre-loaded list of blocked sites and, if so, what are the politics of the compilers of that list?

My last real-world employer in the UK used Websense, and I found I could not access virtually any site that did not toe the left-leaning line.
