Australia: Must not call Leftist politicians "ugly"
You can say that GWB looks like a "chimp" but ....
"An Opposition staffer has been given a dressing down after calling Premier Anna Bligh "ugly" on an anti-Labor blog. Katherine Smith, a media adviser for Deputy Opposition Leader Mark McArdle, posted the comment "Anna Bligh is ugly" during work time on a Facebook group blog called "Anna Bligh is a moron".
Deputy Premier Paul Lucas jumped to the Premier's defence yesterday describing the comment as "offensive". "What people want to do in their spare time is a matter for them," he said. "(But) surely people in his office have got better things to do with their time than actually indulge in personal abuse of the Premier."

This is a joke, right? That title right next to the picture of Helen Thomas? What's next from the minds of the politically correct thought police?
It has been scientifically proven that right wing hot air is the major cause of global warming.
Once again, we see a clear example of how political correctness is muffling free speech. Perhaps the people don't deserve free speech since there seems to be no outrage over losing it.
Still looks like Margaret Hamilton. All she needs to complete the picture is a herd of flying monkeys.
There are two things at work here. The first is that the comment was posted on Facebook while the woman was supposed to be working.
For going to Facebook while at work, she should be reprimanded to some extent.
The second is that it is more troublesome that they reprimanded her for the content of the comment. At the same time, it is their computers, and they are paying the time, so they have a right to say how the woman represents them.
It should have been handled internally and not be brought out into the public.
A slap on the wrist and a warning to not post on social sites at work should be sufficient.
Beauty is only skin deep..
