Tancredo abused by Leftist haters

We read:
"While protesters outside chanted ‘Tom Tancredo, out of our state, we don’t want your racist hate,’ Tancredo was inside pointing toward the muffled voices and telling an appreciative audience, ‘they hate the idea of America.’

The battle lines were drawn on a tidy Fairlawn side street Wednesday as the former Colorado congressman and 2008 GOP presidential candidate, who made his name battling illegal immigration, addressed the group Rhode Islanders for Immigration Law Enforcement (RIILE), bemoaning what he called the ‘frenzy of political correctness and the cult of multiculturalism.’”

They don't want his hate?

OK, I admit, I'm up to my eyeballs in work on a Sunday morning and I don't have the time to research the guy.

So, I'm going to guess that he really doesn't hate anyone.

All he's doing is trying to send criminals back to their countries. Because let's face it: If you break the law, you are a lawbreaker.

Coming into this great country of ours illegally is the same as breaking into someone's home.

Another example of leftist "tolerence"?

Those on the left are trying to convince the American people that, if a burglar breaks into your home and settles in, they not only have some earthly "right" (able to be granted only by leftists) to be there, but you should leave them in place since they're already comfortable. Oh, and don't forget, since they're in your house, you must also feed them, educate them, and care for their health needs.

And since the majority of Americans have become a group of weak, mindless, fools who have surrendered their right to think for themselves, i wouldn't be a bit surprised to see this attack on America's sovereignty work.

---No different than the brownshirts in germany. If it wasn't for global warming, they'd be burning books by now.

It's odd that the anti-immigration crowd wants to rid America of 12 million customers. Not good for the economy.

BTW, who says that the left has to be tolerant? The right surely isn't.

It's odd that the anti-immigration crowd wants to rid America of 12 million customers. Not good for the economy. In that studies have shown that illegal immigrants cost the country more than they contribute, eliminating a drain on the economy is good for the economy.

BTW, who says that the left has to be tolerant? The right surely isn't.Let's toss aside your ridiculous point that the right isn't "tolerant" and deal with the point that the left sees itself as tolerant, yet is happy with these types of incidents. There is a definite hypocrisy on the left. Deal with that and then get back to us.

Or is your "defense" of this the rational of 5 year olds? That being "he did it too!"

Anonymous 6:50 a.m., so I'm part of the "anti-immigration crowd"?

No, I'm part of the anti-illegal immigration crowd.

Now, my wife is from Tokyo, Japan (there goes your case that I'm part of the anti-immigration crowd about me) and we both worked very hard to make sure that she stayed in this country legally.

In fact, going into the immigration office in Philadelphia, we saw a lot of people, mostly Hispanics, who were making sure they were staying in this country legally.

I have no problem with people coming to this country for a better life, as long as they follow the rules and do it legally.

On the other hand, people who come into this country illegally should be arrested and shipped back to where they came from.

Leftists always change the subject by saying this is an argument about "immigration", when in fact, it's about "illegal" immigration. They do this because they have no rational defense for their pro-illegal stance, other than their belief that 20-40 million illegals will vote Democrat. And that's what it's really about.

Look at it this way....

God must love illegal Mexican immigrants; He made so many.

I love immigration and immigrants because they help make this country greater. But I want them here in a controlled and legal fashion for both their benefit and mine.

---I'd be willing to let them stay If they pay a $10,000 fine to get their greencard.

Legal immigrants can spend anywhere from $5,000 to $10,000 for an H1B. Why should illegals get blanket amnesty? Why should law-breakers get rewarded while law-abiders get punished?

You also have to consider that population growth isn't always a good thing. Some cities need more people (Cleveland) while other cities need less (Miami).
