OK. I'm not sorry they censored this one

One wonders where Steve Ballmer's brains have gone to approve this in the first place. Is ANYONE steering the ship at Microsoft these days? Microsoft once used to be so prim and proper.
"Microsoft has bowed to public outcry and pulled from the web an ad rapidly gaining fame as "the worst technology commercial ever".

The ad, which plugs Microsoft's Internet 8 browser, features a couple eating breakfast while the husband's browsing on his laptop. He leaves the table and hands it to his wife, who inadvertantly finds a site in the history file so disturbing, she vomits on the floor. The insinuation is it's hardcore pornography.

Hubbie returns, slips in the vomit and is consequently thrown up on several more times by his wife.

The catchcry for Internet Explorer 8 "OMGIGP" – “Oh My God I'm Going To Puke". The ad is Microsoft’s attempt to sell Internet Explorer 8's ability to cover any users' browsing tracks.

As a matter of fact IE8 makes me puke. I use a combination of Google Chrome and Firefox these days, mostly Chrome.

I use Ubuntu, a version of Linux which is free. It is extremely stable and virtually virus proof, in other words, the opposite of Windows.

I just downloaded IE8 directly from Microsoft and i'm not happy with it at all. I find it intrusive and annoying. Not being a computer pro, i'm wondering if i uninstall it, is my IE7 still in place? I run Windows XP Pro.

Google makes me puke... IE is excellent, IE8 more so. Stable, fast, and forces a lot of good writing skills on website authors.
What more can you want?

FF is slow, takes up way too much screen real estate, and has a terrible tendency to misrender CSS.
