RINO opposes free speech

We read:
"Sen. Lindsey Graham said Congress might need to explore the need to limit some forms of freedom of speech, in light of Tennessee pastor Terry Jones’ Quran burning, and how such actions result in enabling U.S. enemies.

"I wish we could find a way to hold people accountable. Free speech is a great idea, but we're in a war," Graham told CBS' Bob Schieffer on “Face the Nation” Sunday.

“During World War II, we had limits on what you could do if it inspired the enemy," Graham said, adding certain speech can “put our troops at risk.”

If that's not letting the Jihadis win, I don't know what would be.

To be consistent, the title here should be "No Free Speech in the USA"

Hate to break it to ya folks, but free speech in America has been on life support for going on four decades now.

Obama’s coronation just put a nail in the coffin. Liberals love to limit speech (other peoples speech that is, Hate speech laws, fairness Doctrine, ect...) but get all indignant when you try to do the same to them.

As the liberal motto goes: “Free speech for me, but not for thee!”

War? Did Grahmesty declare a war? I wasn't aware that the Congress declared a war.

What Terry Jones did wasn't particularly bright, but he's allowed First Amendment rights anyway.

I'd guess Sen. Graham is allowed those rights also. In fact, let her keep speaking. Maybe her constituency will listen and vote for someone else next time.

I am certain that, if we censor speech when threatened, the threats will then stop forever and never be escalated. I just know it.

Spurwing Plover, I hate to say it but he is a Republican who seems to have forgotten his place.

"Graham said, adding certain speech can “put our troops at risk.”

No Sen. RINO, what puts our troops at risk is sending them into battle handcuffed by the idiotic, and politically motivated, Rules of Engagement, which tell them to fight, but not hurt anyone.

What puts them at risk is sending them off to other countries forcing people to live under "democracy" like we do, whether they want it or not. We're so stupid that we don't realize the whole world sees what a fcuked-up mess our own country is, yet we want everyone to copy us.

What puts them at risk is having a govt. made-up of elected liars and crooks who have no idea what each other is saying or doing, and all led by a Mooselamb Marxist in the WH who hates the military.

In WWII, the slogan "loose lips sink ships" was respected by the citizens like so many other things.

Today, we as a country are more willing to pander to those who fight directly against us than we are willing to support those who fight for us.
