Christians not welcome in NY school

The "tolerant" Left at work again:
"A federal lawsuit has been filed on behalf of a group of Christian high school students in New York who said their principal banned them from starting a Christian club.

“The principal said, ‘I don’t want any of these Christian clubs at my school,’” said David Cortman, an attorney with the Alliance Defense Fund, a conservative advocacy legal group. The ADF filed the lawsuit Monday against the Hicksville Union Free School District in Central Islip, NY.

“Public schools cannot ban Christian student clubs simply because they are religious,” Cortman said. “If officials at government-run schools did their homework, they’d know that students have a constitutionally protected right to express their beliefs.”

If this was in the UK or France etc. the title would be 'Christians not welcome in Batty Britain" - etc., but because it's the USA, we get more specific and partisan.

Central Islip, Long Island is a close suburb of NYC, and like NYC, is controlled by leftist jews. Hence, nothing Christian will be allowed. These are the people who love to have themselves seen as "tolerant", when in fact, nothing could be further from the truth. Many of us out here hope this hits them in their most vulnerable spot. Their pockets.

‘I don’t want any of these Christian clubs at my school,

Since when does he own the school?

Incidentally, don't bother to answer me. I won't see it. I'm removing my shortcut to Tongue Tied.

I'm sure lots of you will be glad to be rid of another Jew/jew even though this Jew votes Republican.

3:06 - so what.

4:12 - right, it is OUR school, the people's.

Jonathan get over it.

Obviously, Mr. Lewin is not from NYC else he would know 3:07's comment to be factual. Uncomfortable perhaps, but factual.

I know Cortman said “If officials at government-run schools did their homework, they’d know that students have a constitutionally protected right to express their beliefs.” However in most public institutions for education no longer care about the constitution, they promote socialism and "social justice" and such. Also Jonathan Lewin, I sympathize a bit with you as I am an Orthodox Jew, but I would suggest ignoring it, people always say truths in stupid insensetive ways. It is true that many US Jews vote for the Left, but I doubt the people who made the comment realize Jews elsewhere vote for the Right, especially in Israel, so as I said, ignore it.

Jonathan

You should treat the question as an empirical one

Leftist Jews ARE very influential in NYC

The comment could be factual

To dismiss it out of hand is bias too

Jonathan,

I don't blame you for leaving. Jon and his minions spew nothing but right wing and religionist hate under the guise of free speech and freedom of religion. Of course, I will be attacked by these same people for making this comment. The difference between you and I is that I do not care what these clowns say to me.

And you could be a child molesting member of the KKK. After all, there is are child molesters where you live and racism / bigotry as well.

So we should consider that all of your posts and comments under the light that you are racist and a child molester.

How does that work out for you?

What is said by the trolls such as "One Who Knows" is indefensible. There is a difference between wild accusations and fact based comments.

You should know that Jon.

I disagree with Jonathan's leaving because I think it allows the trolls and morons to win. However, I disagree more with your position that the troll "might be right" without a shred of evidence of his assertion.

me, me, me, it's all about me. get over yourself.

Of course it's me. You are irrelevant.

re: Anon 1:48,
One can always tell comments made by leftists, as they are openly intolerant of anyone they disagree with. And they call others trolls? How trypical.

"A fact can not be anti-Semitic"

... even if it makes you uncomfortable.

Jonathan - while I agree with you about the comment it is simply a part of websites that allow comments in general and perhaps this website in particular as it has a focus on freedom of expression.
I think it incumbent on JJR to allow posts like One Who Knows' just like yours.
Leaving is entirely your choice but why should you allow someone like One Who Knows to silence you on this forum?
BTW JJR - I think your response somewhat weak. I think it was pretty clear that the principal's actions had nothing to do with any jewish influence - in fact, one thing this site is good at is pointing out that ignorance has no borders. People can be just as dumb about the 1st in Maine as they can in California.

Let's see how long it takes for an Islamic club to be established in the school. You think it's bad now, jut wait until Sharia Law gets its claws into the United States legal system. By then, it will be too late. Don't think it can happen? then just sit there passively and don't do anything.

"Non sequitur" alert. Whether a comment is hate has nothing to do with whether it is free speech. Make a logical argument or get off the soap box.

All principals think they own the schools. Think they own the teachers, too.
