Report: Ford Pulls Anti-Bailout Ad After Pressure From Obama Admin.‏

Must not criticize Obama:
"Remember that clever little Ford ad that showed an actual buyer being led into a surprise news conference and answering impromptu questions? You know, the one where the buyer says, “I wasn’t going to buy another car that was bailed out by the government. I was going to buy from a manufacturer that’s standing on their own: win, lose, or draw. That’s what America is about is taking the chance to succeed and understanding when you fail that you gotta’ pick yourself up and go back to work.”

Well, the last time you saw it may have been the last time you saw it. What do I mean? According to a report from The Detroit News, the ad has now been pulled by Ford due to pressure from the Obama administration.

Columnist Daniel Howes explains:

[...] Ford pulled the ad after individuals inside the White House questioned whether the copy was publicly denigrating the controversial bailout policy CEO Alan Mulally repeatedly supported in the dark days of late 2008, in early ‘09 and again when the ad flap arose.

With President Barack Obama tuning his re-election campaign amid dismal economic conditions and simmering antipathy toward his stimulus spending and associated bailouts, the Ford ad carried the makings of a political liability when Team Obama can least afford yet another one. Can’t have that.

Michelle Malkin has been corresponding with representatives from Ford and the White House via Twitter. Both have denied any pressure. [But they would, of course]

The ad has run its course, as well as most of the others from that series. Leave it Malkin and her ilk from fox news to make something out of nothing. Disgusting.

I'm not at all surprised to see Ford cave-in to the demands of this Marxist administration. Ford, via it's Ford Foundation, has been an integral part of the Left for decades, supplying left-wing groups and organizations with hundreds-of-billions in grants and donations.

"BOYCOTT FORD!"

I love my Ford. I boycott Fox News.

Fox News is a misnomer - it's not so much news as biased opinion-spewing (and where studio interviews are more about the interviewer's views than the invited interviewee's, who is often rudely talked over or even shouted down).

So when head pig NAPOLEON OBAMA oinks they at FORD fall all over themselves to do his bidding

LOL, our anon troll sure is showin' the hurt, ain't he?

If the ad had truly "run its course," then there would have been no need for the WH to contact Ford in the first place, would there?

"Nice little car company you got there, buddy; be a shame if something were to happen to it."

See, no pressure!

Stinky thinks that anyone who doesn't use a silly (but in his case very appropriate) nick, must be a "troll".

A troll is one who seeks attention via insult and insistence, rather than engaging in argument for its own merit. You qualify.

It's really just a flavor of adolescent (be it original or extended) narcissism, and for most practitioners is based in insecurity, hence the inchoate anger.

Now you know. No charge.

The issue was first reported by the Detroit News, a newspaper out of Detroit. Others picked up on it which is normal for any new item.

And just for your edification, the Detroit News is standing by their reporter and the report. They are not backing away from this.

Disgusting.

Yes it is disgusting, but not for the reason you think. Most people find it disgusting to try and kill the messenger without dealing with the message as you have done.

Most people find the pressure applied to Ford disgusting.

Most people find the government actively participating in a private market disgusting because of the inherent conflict of interest as has happened here.

And also a lot to do with the demacratic boot lickers in the UAW as well twisting some arms

This is a simple matter:
1. Has Ford dropped the ad?
2. If so, why?
Two very easy questions to answer if there is nothing to it.

Chicago thuggery in action... as always.

Anon 2:19 -- You have fallen into the fallacy of not recognizing the difference between the News shows on Fox where they present the news and the commentary shows where they provide opinions and debate.

Fox News has the ratings to prove they are doing a much better job of the opinion shows than any of the other channels.

Hitler had high ratings from his people, too.

yep, I agree : popular/mass endorsement is no reflection of "quality" or (as in religion) "truth".

In 8:49 AM Stinky has just described and defined him/herself as a Troll (with a Freudian projection yet again!). Just a bad smell wherever you go!
