European Parliament Votes to Censor Politically Incorrect Speech

Worried by the rise of nationalist parties that threaten the very existence of the European Union (EU), the European Parliament (EP) has quietly amended its internal rules to enable the silencing of “racist” speech within its hallowed halls.
The rule change, which passed in December, allows the president of the EP to “interrupt the live broadcasting of” a parliamentary debate “in the case of defamatory, racist or xenophobic language or behavior by a member.” Furthermore, it gives the president the power to “delete” said incident “from the audiovisual record of the proceedings,” consigning it to the memory hole unless a journalist happens to be present to report on it. Offenders may be fined up to $9,500.
Conveniently, the rule doesn’t define what constitutes “defamatory, racist or xenophobic language or behavior,” leaving it to the president’s discretion, although the EP Bureau, which consists of the president and 14 vice presidents, must review the decision within four weeks.

So essentially anything that the president thinks threatens the EU and they can construct some story line that it meets their vague criteria they can delete from history. Hitler and Stalin would be extremely proud of this, it is a page out of their playbook.

No free speech in the European((Soviet)Union and this is more reasons we dont want to be part of any stupid WORLD COMMUNITY and we dont want to be part of any North American(Soviet)Union and we dont want or borders erased and we oppose open borders and end this plan and get america out of the United Nations
So let me get this straight... The EP President can interrupt a live speaker, order the speakers comments deleted, and the EP Bureau must review that decision within 4 weeks AFTER the evidence has been deleted???
I don't think there is any issue with any censored MP going to the nearest newspaper/tv station and having them publish what the EU parliament censored. In the end it is the EU parliament that will fall because it's dictatorial approach. Which ever way you look at it the EU is stuffed, more so by embracing eastern European countries.
